I would recommend dropping them as you get them, in order to keep them safe, and then once you have a potion of cure mutation, drink them one at a time and see what mutations you get. I quite enjoy playing the mutation roulette, but some prefer to play it safe. There's way more than I've demonstrated, from Ember Elves to Water Sprites. Crawl players refer to drinking mutation potions as the mutation roulette. I developed some new galaxy brain strategies for dealing with Zot:5 especially for this run.Īll in all I think this fork is great and you should give it a try. Remember that Felid Mummies don't get extra lives, aren't fast, don't get claws, have even less health than felids, and can't drink potions.
